Key Productions
Upon completing a course in Television and Video Production in 1999 I began experimenting with digital video as a founding partner of Earthling Productions. This collaboration specialised in obscure video art and music videos. Whilst completing an Arts degree at the University of Tasmania I continued my video work, freelancing to various Hobart production companies. Since 2005 I have worked full time in digital video production, specialising in filming and editing of sports and social events. During this time I have also worked intensively on promotional video work for both corporate and non-for-profit organisations. My passion for cinema and love of my home state has led me to produce a number of documentary projects on topics relating to Tasmania and the qualities which make it unique.
• The Messfest (2000) [Camera Op & Editor] A collection of live footage from 20 local Hobart bands at underground music festivals• Gown of Year (2000) [Camera Op and Assistant Editor] An international fashion show in Melbourne.• The Tribe (2006-08) [Camera Op and Editor] A feature length documentary about the 125 year history of the North Hobart Football Club• Rufus (2009) [Editor] A short listed black comedy entered in Tropfest; Winner of Tasmanian Judges Prize.• Wesley Vale: 20 Years On (2009) [Editor, Producer] A 45 minute documentary utilizing archival footage on the 1989 Wesley Vale Pulp Mill
